Some property managers are having potential tenants go into homes unsupervised to see the home for themselves. What do you think about this practice? We think it’s incredibly lazy and risky for homeowners and anyone currently living in the property.

If a property manager won’t even take the time to show the home they manage in order to find good tenants, what will they take the time to do? Property managers are actually trying to avoid meeting with tenants. The excuse they’re giving is it opens them to risk of violating fair housing laws. Isn’t that one of the reasons you’re hiring a professional property manager, because they are supposed to know the laws and therefore know how to follow them?

We enjoy meeting with tenants, asking questions and getting to know them. It’s also an opportunity for them to get to know us, and ask any questions they have about the house. That’s what we were hired to do. It’s why we have so much success vs. other property management companies.

If you’re looking for a property manager in the Colorado Springs area, please give us a call, send a text or email. We are happy to meet with homeowners. You can get to know us and why we are a great choice to manage their home for them.
